On this page you will find key management documents for Norwegian accreditation, such as strategy, award letters and annual reports. Laws and regulations As a government agency, Norwegian accreditation is subject to the laws and regulations that apply to such agencies. We receive our social mission from the Ministry of Trade and Industry. This is done by annual allocation letters. The letter of allocation makes provision from the Storting available for Norwegian accreditation. At the same time, the expenditure and revenue limits, budget authorizations and reporting requirements are set. The Ministry of Trade and Fisheries at the Trade Policy Department supervises Norwegian accreditation through the management dialogue specified in the letter of allocation. Norwegian accreditation has been revised by the Riksrevisjonen, in line with current regulations.
